CARA ROSELLINI

Hi! I am a Stand Up Comedian, Actor and Writer who started my career in Los Angeles and moved to Seattle with my family to continue the work that I love. As a comedian I began in LA at the open mics and worked my way up. I have been a competitor in the Seattle International Comedy Competition twice and have worked up and down the west coast in many clubs including the Hollywood Improv, the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, Rooster T. Feathers and the Tacoma Comedy Club. I am a regular at Seattle’s Club Comedy and Laugh’s Comedy Club. In addition to clubs, I do corporate work, churches, breweries, living rooms and I’ve even done a set in the back of a van!

As an actor, I’ve been cast in many plays including Collected Stories by Donald Margulies and That May Well be True by Jay Reiss (to name a few). I starred in the short film “Three Sides,” winner of “Best Short” at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. Since moving back to Seattle, I have written, produced and starred in 3 short films, the first was screened at the Blue Whiskey Film Festival in Chicago and at the Local Sightings Film Festival at Seattle’s Northwest Film Forum. The second was well received at the Freehold Film Festival. I have also worked as an actor on many short and feature films in the Seattle area in the last 7 years as well as commercials and continue to write and produce films that represent the the humor (sometimes disguised as challenges) I’m gifted in this life.
